Current Status

IRLP & Echolink are back up. The NWS alerts are still missing and the same for the weekly ARRL News. I hope to have them restored soon.
Also needed is an upgrade to the firmware for the controller. It's running on a beta version of the code and has occasional issues.

Well I placed the repeater and IRLP box back on the hill today.
Some commands are missing and the weather alerts are also missing. I will work on this as soon as I have some time.

See what frequency I'm on !!!

I've been playing around with Ham Radio Deluxe. This is the software I use to control my Yaesu FT847. When I'm running HRD it'll upload updates as to where I am on the bands.

Check out the other website I'm working on. K2JJI.ORG . This is the website of my local club. Stop by and say hi.

Reflector 9055

The repeater now automatically connects to reflector 9055 every weekday between 6 to 8 AM and 4 to 6 PM. If you hear some activity stop by and say hello to the other users of the Keystone Empire network.

ARRL News

We now play the ARRL news every Tuesday evening after the 146.700 Tryon Club on air meeting. This is usually over at around 7:10 pm. So the news starts at around the same time. If you do not have a 70cm radio, you can of course use a scanner and listen to the output on 443.700 MHz.

APRS Status of Repeater

You can use APRS to check the current status of the repeater. ie if it is connected to IRLP or Echolink. If it's connected to Echolink it will show "Connected to stn4925". If the repeater is connected to IRLP, APRS will show the node number of the connected system.

NY & PA Channel on IRLP Reflector 9055

The repeater is now part of the PA & NY channel on reflector 9500. We are not connected full time, but will be connected a lot of the time.
Have a look at all the repeaters that you are connected to in NY and PA. IRLP_9055
There are around 22 repeaters that may be connected together. Obviously they may not all be connected to the reflector.
To check what repeaters are in the reflector have a look at the IRLP Status Page and look for channel 5.

We're Back

OK, the site is missing some graphics but, for the most part is back up and running.
